MENTORING THROUGH SERVICE
Hope for North Brevard is teaming up with NFL star Latavius Murray to serve our community in 2 ways:
Mentoring
· 10-15 at risk boys (6-9th grade) teaching leadership, character, service and hard work through summer serve project
· 50 hours community service: preparing, serving, delivery, and clean up of dinners 4 days/week for 8 weeks
· End of summer fun leadership retreat fostering group trust and accountability to continue throughout middle/high school years.
Service
· Help struggling families during the Covid-19 crisis
· Ensure families get hot meals
· 100 meals/day, 400 meals/week, 3200 meals this summer
· Meal delivery to elderly and those who lack transportation
